Camera. Verso uses the camera to read ingredient lists on labels. Text recognition and allergen analysis run entirely on your device, using Apple technology. Images are never sent to any server.
Scan history. The text read, the analysis result and a thumbnail photo are stored only on your phone. You can clear the history from the app ("Delete all") or by deleting the app, which removes all of its data.
Your allergy list. Stored only on your device. We never see or transmit it.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed directly by Apple through the App Store. Verso does not receive or store your name, email or payment details. Purchase verification happens on your device through Apple's system (StoreKit). For Apple's privacy policy, see apple.com/legal/privacy.
Verso reads the label; it does not analyse the food. Reading can fail, labels can be incomplete or out of date, and formulations change without notice. A result with no findings confirms nothing: always check the package and consult a health professional when in doubt. Verso is not a substitute for medical advice.
Verso collects no data from anyone, including children.
